Modern Bread and Bagel

“This place is such a gem. My celiac daughter left with a box full of treats to snack on while we were visiting for the weekend. Everything is gluten-free and nut-free. Would visit here regularly if we could!”

The Misfit Restaurant + Bar

The Misfit Restaurant + Bar

“This place is so amazing for celiac. Nearly their entire menu can be made gluten-free. Even the regular Mac and cheese they have is gluten-free (for everyone). We had that, the Brussels sprouts, a burger (no bun-they don’t have gluten-free buns for some reason), the Kale salad and a Caesar salad. Way too much food for two people but it was all delicious. A super cute pub just off the main strip in Santa Monica. I only had my celiac child with me not my food allergy child.”

“This place was super cool, very old school Hollywood vibe. Food was unreal, we absolutely loved it, I had the goddess salad and filet with fingerling potatoes. Staff was super knowledgeable about allergies. I did not have my kids with me but would be comfortable bringing them here.”

Wally's Santa Monica

“Amazing little wine bar with an awesome vibe. Staff was super knowledgeable about food allergies. We had one of their signature charcuterie boards, steak and a burger (no bun). It was delish.”

Orla by Michael Mina

“We ate brunch here, the menu is labeled for gluten-free and staff is well versed in managing allergies. View is stunning and super fun brunch spot. I did not have my kids with me.”

The Georgian Hotel

The Georgian Hotel

“I had my celiac child with me (not my food allergy child). I chose this hotel for the location and the old Hollywood vibe. In terms of food available at the hotel their menu is labeled for gluten-free which is great but the options are fairly limited. They make their pasta in fresh water so we had bolognese and Caesar salad and their goddess salad. For one breakfast we had fresh fruit, oatmeal and a side of scrambled eggs. It was fine and safe. Loved the location, it’s so perfect.”

Regent Santa Monica Beach

Regent Santa Monica Beach

“Stunning hotel super close to Santa Monica Pier. Amazing amenities and really accommodating staff. On-site restaurant is Orla and they always asked about allergies. Menu is labeled well for gluten-free. I did not have my kids with me but would be comfortable bringing them here.”
