Nut, Vegetable, + Fruit-Free Paris, Amsterdam, & London Top Picks

Hi! I’m Lauren and I recently studied abroad in Paris, France! I was able to find many safe spots to safely eat at while managing peanut, tree nut, vegetable, and fruit allergies. One of my favorite places to eat was Marcello, located at the base of Montmartre, where I safely had a delicious Margherita pizza before enjoying the beautiful view! I also visited Patate for French fries, which I sat down and ate along the Seine! If you visit, a must-do activity is visiting the Palace of Versailles to spend time wandering the gardens and biking around! “Waiter assured me would be okay with pizza. Didn’t see any nuts besides macarons for dessert and they also have the allergens listen on the website. Good pizza and pasta on champs Elysées!”

“Limited/no nuts on the dinner menu, besides desserts. The waiter was so nice and assured me that I did not have to worry at all about my food! I got the cheese/spinach ravioli in a Parmesan cream and it was amazing. The waiter really made me feel comfortable which isn’t easy abroad!”

L’Atlas

“Waiter spoke English and said the chef was familiar with allergies upon looking at my card. He said my dish contained no nuts and I warned about cross-contamination as well. Confirmed food was safe when I received it. Didn’t seem like there were obvious nuts on menu besides dessert. Saw from another review that they have an allergy menu – I didn’t get a chance to see it but try asking about it if you can! I ate chicken paillard with a glass of rosé!”

“Nut safe place in montemarte! Pizza and pasta place with very limited nuts – just pesto in a pasta and a Nutella pizza for dessert. Waiter spoke English and ensured me that Nutella pizza was prepared separate. I ordered a margarita pizza and none of the pizzas had nut toppings. Pizza was huge and amazing!”

“Fries only place with no nuts/peanut oil! Stated on their website and confirmed in person that they only use fresh potatoes and vegetable oil. They also had an allergen menu taped on the wall next to cashier.
Have a variety of toppings all kept in their own dispensers. They should be gluten free as well.”

“While they do have some nuts, there are no pasta dishes with nuts so I felt good ordering the Parmesan (parm wheel!) pasta. Staff was super friendly and accommodating and assured me they would notify the chef. We were the first people there when they opened at 330 so I felt better about cross contamination.”

Albert’s Schloss – Soho, London

“Gluten free, vegan, nut free donuts per their website. Located in Selfridges, in the food hall. Confirmed with worker in person as well. I ate safely!”
