Highly recommend arriving early to explore the property a bit.”

Life Grand Cafe Waterfront

“We went here for lunch today. The waitress took down my allergies and checked with the kitchen to make sure it was safe. Everything was fine, minus some slight modifications. I ordered the Gatsby sandwich but modified to regular mayo instead of saffron mayo and no cheese. So delicious and stunning waterfront views!”

Mythos V&A Waterfront

“We dined at Mythos on our second night in Cape Town for dinner. The waiter took down my allergies and checked with the kitchen on my order to make sure everything was safe. We ordered chicken souvlaki skewers to start, the skordalia dip with pita, and then the tomahawk steak, which came with French fries. While the overall meal was good, I would not order the tomahawk again.”

What’s The Scoop?

“Haven’t eaten here yet, but I reached out, and the owners are great. The wife has food allergies, so they get it! They have 1 dairy-free ice cream flavor at a time made from rice milk. The gluten-free waffles are made with almond milk, rice flour, eggs, and they use sunflower oil spray to avoid soy oil.”
