Campo’s Philly Cheesesteaks
“This restaurant was a great find on our recent trip to Philadelphia. They have gluten-free and vegan cheesesteak options, so we decided to give it a try with our kids. One child has an egg allergy, and the regular buns, as of 2/15/26, did not have egg in them. The lovely lady behind the counter was able to show me the ingredients. My other child manages celiac and nut, shellfish, and sesame allergies, so he was able to have the gluten-free cheesesteak. I have celiac and had the one gluten-free soup (tomato risotto), which was delicious. They were super knowledgeable about gluten-free, with a bunch of dessert options too.”

Citizens Bank Park
“They have a dedicated gluten-free stand (partnered with Schar), which is located by section 122! I’ve enjoyed their hot dog, cheesesteak, soft pretzel, and gluten-free beer! It is so nice to be able to safely eat traditional “ballpark” foods while watching a game!”

Gouldsburger’s Express
“Holy smokes, if you’re ever looking for a gluten-free cheesesteak in the Rittenhouse Square/Center City area, then this is the place to be! The staff here is very good with allergies and has both gluten-free buns and gluten-free cheesesteak rolls, so you’ll get the full experience along with everyone else! They use O’Dough bread, which was so soft and flavorful, and everything in the cheesesteaks, sandwiches, and hot dogs was cooked to perfection! In case that wasn’t good enough, everything that goes in their fryers is 100% gluten-free, which includes french fries and waffle fries, as they use a rice flour dredge.
The Philadelphia location is considered their Express location, so not all of the sides are available here. If you decide to go to their original location in Haddonfield, NJ, then there are even more gluten-free selections like fried chicken sandwiches and onion rings. I didn’t see any peanuts on the menu, which is always great to see. If you live in Philly and are looking for some gluten-free cheesesteak, drop what you’re doing and come check this place out! Pictures show the cheesesteaks on gluten-free rolls and the Plain Jane on a gluten-free hot dog bun with a side of mustard.”

SouthHouse
“Everything that goes into their fryer is gluten-free! Their staff is so educated and understands how to keep gluten-free food safe for those with allergies. Also, it’s the best gluten-free cheesesteak in Philly! I ordered garlic parm wings, tater tots, bed rock bites, and down east cider!”
