“I had so many people recommend this restaurant to me before coming to Nice. Now I’ll be one of those people. Not only is it a fantastic location with incredible views, but they were great with allergies! Our server was great—really nice, accommodating (when my one friend and I got bread service, he brought gluten-free bread for our other friend who’s intolerant), and knowledgeable. He ensured the kitchen would know of my shellfish allergy and my friend’s gluten intolerance. That was confirmed when he came back to talk to my friend about her sea bream dish garnish that contained gluten, and if she would like it replaced with vegetables. We started with the fried zucchini flowers (not gluten-free), the tuna sashimi, and burratina. I had the truffle rigatoni and tried some of my friend’s sea bass. Both were excellent. It’s definitely on the pricier side given the location, but it was a great experience!”

Mamma Mia Saleya

“The staff told me that they do not use peanuts in their kitchen (including peanut oil) and they only have one item on the menu where they add nuts (pistachio). I felt safe to eat there, and it was good. I recommend.”

Hotel Amour Nice

“Good spot for lunch! Ate here while at the beach, and I was safely able to eat a lot on the menu! I ate fries and a freekeh salad!”

Bocca Nissa

“Such a cute rooftop at this restaurant! Our server was great, he was super helpful and appreciated the allergy card I had on hand so he could bring it to the kitchen. Currently, no shellfish on the menu is fried, so I didn’t have to worry about cross-contamination there, which was nice! It’s a tapas restaurant so we shared pimientos, croquetas (my friend who is gluten intolerant was not able to have these), hummus (they ran out of gluten-free bread so they brought some vegetables for my gluten intolerant friend since she couldn’t have the pita), crémeux de chèvre, haricots verts & stracciatella (I personally would pass on this in the future but both my friends liked it), and côte de boeuf (this was large and came with lots of potatoes, carrots, and zucchini). I definitely would go back here!”

“The staff was helpful here at both dinner and lunch, and clearly told us what we could order. The bartender also had a peanut allergy, which was helpful, and spoke English. When my daughter ordered ice cream, they sanitized the scooper as well. We used a peanut allergy card translated into French when ordering as well.”

“Helpful staff and clear menu! Our waiter was insanely helpful! He made sure to label the whole table as having nut allergies. It was super delicious, and I could not recommend it enough!”

Domino's Pizza Nice Est

Domino’s Pizza Nice Est

“Ordered in for my last night in Nice and decided to get pizza. I was surprised to see Domino’s had dairy-free cheese, but I was so excited. I ordered from Uber Eats, so I had to request the vegan cheese and list my allergies in the comment box, which is always risky and scary, but my order came perfectly, and it was delicious.”

“The waiter knew what was in the food as soon as I asked him, and even double-checked with the chef to ensure I would be safe. He let me know immediately upon learning about my sesame allergy that one of the sauces on the table was not safe, so he took it away. Very delicious and authentic food!”

Pizzeria L’Evelina

Pizzeria L’Evelina

“The best pizza I have had on my trip! This pizza honestly brought me back to Italy. The staff was educated and was able to inform me what I could and could not have. I safely enjoyed a pizza aux aubergine, which was super good. They do have 2 pistachio pizzas here, but they were sure that there would be no cross-contamination. I 100% recommend this place.”

Garden Café Nice

Garden Café Nice

“Visiting the South of France and stopped at Garden Café in Nice! I got the avocado salmon bagel with no cheese, and it was amazing. I also got the Sweetie smoothie with oat milk (there are also other milk alternatives available), which was also delicious. They had so many other vegan options available, I was so surprised to see all the different vegan options they had.”

“Great experience before a flight home. The restaurant has an allergen menu and has safe options. Airports are often very tricky, so this was great. And for the kiddos, there is a slide they can use to get out of the restaurant.”
