“The server was helpful and knowledgeable about the menu items and their ingredients. She informed me that she did not recommend the meatballs as they were fried and there was a risk of cross-contamination. She said that the soup I wanted to order was definitely okay for me and there were no worries about cross-contamination for it. I got the avgolemono soup, which was kind of an elevated chicken soup, and I loved it. ”

“The server was knowledgeable and when I mentioned my allergies she immediately said they would make it separately. She also brought my food out first and separately because of the allergies. I got the egg skillet with avocado, feta, and cherry tomatoes. ”

Ralph’s Coffee
“Cute little coffee truck with basic drinks and some pastries. They only use dairy milk, oat milk, and almond milk. I’m not allergic to almonds so I felt comfortable getting a cappuccino here. It was good, but pricey for what it was. More of a fun photo op than anything else, but a good stop if you’re a Ralph Lauren fan :)”

Pazza Notte
“I’m not even exaggerating this is some of the best and most unique pizza I’ve ever had. I’ve gone twice, the first time was in December and we got delivery, and then we went again this week and ate in the restaurant. There are no fish or nuts in any of the pizzas on the menu and the waiter was good at double checking for me and letting the kitchen know. ”

Frames Bowling Lounge
“Fun bowling spot with simple finger food. The pizza was safe for me to eat, but the fried items are made in a shared fryer with shrimp so I avoided them. Overall a super fun spot and I really enjoyed hanging out here!”

“Went here last week and it was so good! We got the latkes and pierogis to start, and then I got the stuffed cabbage with tomato sauce. The waiter was very helpful and told me that the only fish item on the menu is their salmon burger and no one had ordered it that day so there was no fish in the kitchen. ”

“I was SO IMPRESSED with how they handled my allergies here. I was really nervous at the start because the restaurant serves a lot of fish and seafood, but I asked to speak to a chef and they were super accommodating. The chef came out and said he could make anything I wanted separately for my allergies. I got the filet mignon and then got mashed potatoes as a side. When they came out with the food the servers told me they actually made all of the side dishes separately and safe for me to eat so I could try more things, and they had little toothpicks that said ‘allergy’ in each dish. I have never had an experience like this before at a restaurant and I was so happy!!”

“Really good classic deli food!! We got the matzoh ball soup and potato knish. Also the knishes are baked not fried, for those who may have an allergy to certain oils used in frying. ”

“I love you, Cava—my favorite allergy friendly chain that I can always rely on wherever I am, great after a long day. ”

“It’s chipotle, it’s the same pretty much everywhere, I know I can always eat there safely, and I am glad it exists!”

“It was fine, but the server was not as attentive as I would have liked and I did have to double check that my food was okay. When I asked them to double check, they realized the pastry on my plate was not safe for me to eat and they remade me eggs on a clean plate. I came with a large group so that might have contributed to the miscommunication with the server, and I did end up eating here safely, but I would just recommend to communicate clearly and double-check here!”

“Fun brunch spot! I ate here with a large group and they were still able to accommodate my allergies and be attentive to my questions. I did not get one of their milkshakes due to allergy concerns but my friends enjoyed them a lot!!”

Melt Shop
“No fish or nuts on the menu as far as I am aware! Basic fried fare including chicken sandwiches, tenders, fries, grilled cheese, and burgers. It’s a good ‘fast food’ kind of option, as an alternative to bigger chain places that have more allergens present. ”

“I got the French onion soup and the hamburger and it was fantastic! The server said they were able to make it separately for me and was very helpful.
I went again recently and had another great experience! Also, all of the fish on the menu is pan seared so it was safe for me to have a burger cooked on the grill. ”

“Really good spot for classic Italian food with a simple menu and fun interior. There’s no fish on the menu and the one item with nuts is a salad that has almonds, but the server said they make the salads separately from the other menu items. We got the pizza knots as an appetizer and then I got the fusilli bolognese and a side of garlic broccoli. The food was so good and the portion sizes were big so we had leftovers! Also, you MUST try the ricotta, it’s made fresh there!”

“This is a spot in Chelsea Market that I went to this summer! I got the brisket sandwich but opted for it without the bun because they weren’t 100% sure about the bakery it was from. However, all of the meat is cooked there and they don’t cook with any fish or nuts. They also sell things like homemade jerky and salami, although I didn’t get a chance to try those. ”

“I cannot say enough good things about my experience here! Patrick Brennan, who I believe is one of the owners, made sure that I would be taken care of and even spoke to our server before I ordered. Our server Paul was absolutely fantastic. He told me his daughter had food allergies and he made sure that everything was prepared safely for me. I got the filet mignon and had sides of mashed potatoes and spinach, which they sauteéd fresh for me in a pan with garlic oil. I came with a group and the desserts on the prix fixe menu were not safe for my allergies, but Paul offered me some dessert options that they make in house that he was sure were safe for my allergies. I got the crème brûlée and it was amazing. I almost never eat dessert at restaurants due to my allergies so this was very exciting for me. I loved this meal and was so impressed with the service, I would highly recommend this restaurant!!”

Prince Street Pizza
“No nuts or fish here and they even specify on the online menu that the pesto is nut free! The pizza was really good, I got the margarita slice and the prince perfection slice. It took about 20 minutes from the time I got into line to when I got my pizza, and I think the wait was fine but I probably wouldn’t be willing to wait any longer than that for this pizza.”

“They told me the owner’s daughter has a nut allergy so everything here is nut-free! I was so excited to get to eat a donut as I am normally unable to eat at pastry shops, and I got the lemon croissant donut. It’s also open 24 hours which is pretty cool!”
