Ralph’s Coffee
“This place is kinda fancy for coffee but their coffee is delicious. This is the coffee shop run by Ralph Lauren. I love their draft oat latte which is pre made in a keg and comes from a tap altogether. It is cold brew and oat milk and it is light and fluffy and dairy free and the most incredible thing ever. It’s a special occasion coffee for me because it’s like $7.”

Caffè Aronne
“This coffee shop is amazing! They make their own nut milks which if you can have them I’ve been told they’re delicious. They have so many milk alternatives as well. I am just a fan of their black hot coffee. It so good it speaks for itself. Big supporter of this business!”

Pommes Frites
“FRENCH FRIESSSS!!!! These are gluten-free, hand cut fries! Truly phenomenal. The perfect combo of potatoey and crispy! I like the truffle ones! 12/10!”

Friedman’s
“This place is ❤️ Almost the entire menu can be made gluten-free. They have a designated fryer, buns, bread, waffles, breaded chicken etc.. a little more limited for dairy free. I don’t really eat red meat, but their burger is worth the splurge! (They also have rotating Sangrias of the day, if you have a fruit allergy, check what fruits are in it before you order).”

Tatsuda Omakase
“Omggg this place is such a special place experience. Omakase chef selection sushi made at a sushi counter just for you. They are quite good with allergies and avoided shellfish and gluten and soy for me seamlessly! They used tamari on my sushi pieces and made the experience so wonderful and delicious! If your allergies to shellfish are more severe there is still a lot of it around, but I felt very comfortable being able to watch my food being prepared. This is more of a special occasion place, but def worth it! ”

Pink Taco
“This place is an easy and somewhat reasonably priced place in Times Square. Solid margs and yummy tacos with corn tortillas. Cool vibes too!”

Barbounia
“Lovely place in flatiron nyc. Kinda pricey but they are good with allergies and what they serve is quality. I’m a big fan of their octopus and wine!”

The Little Beet Table
“This place rocks 10/10! The menu is labeled, and emphasizes that they cater to dietary restriction and can make any substitutions! Great cocktails and wine list as well. I was able to split every item we ordered for the table and everything was incredible. Winners include the crispy rice and spirulina appetizer and the BEET FALAFEL!”

Parker & Quinn
“This place is very yummy and good with allergies. They have gluten-free bread and I was able to have a delicious brunch for my bday! I had an omelette with a salad, side of potatoes and gluten-free bread! Everything was safe and so so yummy! ”

The Smith
“There are several smiths in nyc and they’re always very consistent. They have good salads, fish and gf pasta! I like their chicken bolognese pasta actually. It’s just a casual but yummy place that is a crowd pleaser and treats allergies well! ”

Nonna Dora’s
“UMM YUMM! This is a small homemade pasta place in midtown. They have gluten free pasta in almost every form and it is so good you cannot tell it’s gf. Any dish on the menu can be made gf and they can split pasta dishes for you so you can share with whoever you are with and make them into different courses! I love their wild boar ragu pappardelle and linguini with mushrooms and truffle oil. Absurdly good!! (Tastes better than it photographs)!”

By the Way Bakery
“This place makes me feel like a “normal” person walking into a bakery! They have a full binder of allergens and ingredients. They do use coconut so ask and check before ordering. Their cookies are great!”

Dear Irving Gramercy
“This is a very cool and trendy speakeasy bar in gramercy in NYC. The cocktails are beautiful and well crafted. The team there is well informed on all things cocktails and from my experience understanding about allergies. Cocktails are a bit pricey (possibly even by NYC standards) but the ambience makes it worth it! Definitely make a reservation if you are going this place gets busy!”

Gregorys Coffee
“Big fan of this place! Their seasonal flavors are always delicious and made with real and fresh ingredients. I love their fall drink, which is an iced oat milk pumpkin spice coffee. So much yum.”

Ribalta
“This is probably the best gf pizza I’ve had!! The crust taste great and has bubbles in it so you know it’s not the frozen kind! You can put whatever toppings on it and the sauce is reallly good on its own. Sooooo delicious! A++++”

Bistango
“Gluten-free heaven!!! They have two locations and both totally hold up! They have gluten free options and yummy bread. My favorite= vegan butternut squash ravioli with pomodoro sauce! The only place I’ve ever eaten ravioli! On Mondays, they have half priced bottles of wine, but any night they have a great wine selection!”

Tamam
“This is a fast casual assembly line takeout place that is delicious Mediterranean food. It’s all vegetarian and they have a dedicated gluten-free fryer for falafel and crispy eggplant! Soooo ridiculously good! Always inform them of a gluten allergy and they will use that fryer! My friend and I get the same bowl, one with eggplant, one with cauliflower and we share because we can’t decide and everything is so good! They have a lot of sesame in there so avoid if you’re allergic to that or legumes.”

Osteria 57
“This place rocks! The whole place is pescatarian, with vegan and gf labels! They also have gluten-free pasta!! I got the braised octopus pasta and it was 🔥!”

The Smith
“CONSISTENT, EDUCATED, DELICIOUS! The team knows what’s in everything and they are able to make adaptations to make a dish allergy safe! They deliver your order and reconfirm that it is the allergy plate as well. Very impressed! ”

Modern Bread and Bagel
“I truly had forgotten what real bagels tasted like until I tried these bagels! They taste real, they are a normal size, and they have multiple flavor options! They also make other breads (pita, focaccia, crusty loaf) all I have tried are incredible and taste like the full gluten version! ALSO! They serve real food too and are open for dinner with their ‘modern at night’—these fish and chips are better than the ones I had in Ireland! AMAZING!!”
