EAT

1. Caprice Bar Mykonos

“Perfect spot to watch the sunset. This place doubles as a restaurant and a lovely bar at night. We only went for drinks but plan to get there early as it is pretty famous. The tables are right on the water.”

2. Acrogiali Beach Hotel

“Very traditional Greek tavern. Well labeled menu and lots of gluten-free options, but the staff was not super educated so beware about cross-contamination.”

3. Soho Roc House

“Beautiful beach club with a restaurant on the water. The staff is super knowledgeable about allergies and could alter dishes as needed. Make a reservation beforehand, as guest policies at the restaurant change from time to time.”

4. D’Angelo Restaurant Mikonos

“We ate here for dinner one night while in Mykonos. I ordered focaccia and prosciutto bruschetta to start and then the beef tagliata. All dishes were good but nothing to write home about. Waiter was very allergy aware and made notes for the chef to make any necessary modifications on my dishes.”

5. Negrita Bar Mykonos

“Cocktails-only bar but such a cute place to take a break and relax for a bit. The tables are right on the ocean in the little Venice part of town. So nice to have a cocktail and listen to the waves crash.”

6. Beefbar Mykonos

“I was so excited to visit a new location of Beefbar while in Mykonos. The restaurant itself is absolutely beautiful and is situated right on the water. I ordered the waygu bolognese to start (modified to contain no dairy) and then a ribeye with french fries. The waiter was quite knowledgeable when it came to allergies and double checked everything with the chef. Super expensive, but highly recommend if you’re looking for a true steakhouse experience in Mykonos!”

9. Kastro’s Restaurant

“Stumbled on this restaurant after seeing that they had private balcony tables jutting out over the water! We got a few appetizers, one of them was grilled cheese and the sea bass ceviche, and some rose. It was one of the most memorable meals I’ve ever had!”

10. Scorpios

“Very sceney but worth it. We reserved a daybed here one day and then had dinner here another night. Make reservations as early as possible, as it stays booked. There are some gluten-free marked items on the menu and the staff is really helpful. Our dinner was wonderful and the restaurant is really cool. I recommend booking a table at sunset.”

STAY

1. Petinos Hotel

“Nice hotel with a great pool and helpful staff. Not super central to much, but was easy to get around and the hotel is right on the water. We rented ATVs and explored the island and were only a few minutes from Mykonos town. The breakfast is buffet style but the eggs and meats were fully separated from the grain area. Also ordered halloumi by the pool one day, which was a win.”

2. Myconian Korali Relais & Châteaux

“This was hands down one of the best hotels that I’ve ever stayed at. Everything from the service, to the food, to the spa was absolutely perfect. On arrival day, we ordered room service. The person we spoke with checked with the chef that my meal was safe and made the necessary adjustments, including omitting the cheese. I ordered the country style turkey sandwich which came with an amazing chipotle mayo and fries. For breakfast, we ate at the buffet. The manager walked me around the buffet and let me know what was safe for my allergies and what to avoid. There were relatively minimal nuts on the buffet with the exception of the breads and granola/nuts. On departure day, we sat by the pool and enjoyed the same meal we had gotten from room service a few days earlier. The spa was also incredible. My significant other and I did a thalassotherapy treatment first followed by a couples massages. The massage that I got used these super unique shells that I have yet to see in the states. They made sure all of the oils were safe. Highly, highly recommend! We cannot wait to come back next summer.”

3. Mykonos Princess Hotel

“Anything we ordered during our stay was totally cleared to be nut-free. They were very familiar with food allergies and careful with the prep.”
