ARIZONA

Drink Me! Tea room

Location: Tempe, Arizona

“The entire menu is vegan and gluten-free! Think very Alice in Wonderland vibes. The treats are made fresh daily and so good. They are really great about additional allergies if you have them. The best high tea in Arizona!”

ILLINOIS

Palm Court, Chicago

Location: Chicago, Illinois

“The Drake Hotel offers the loveliest afternoon high tea at Palm Court! The menus are pre-set, but the waitstaff was happy to bring over a gluten-free tray for our table. They also assured me they had no peanuts on the menu, only hazelnut and almond. Highly recommend this holiday event!”

American Girl Cafe

Location: Chicago, Illinois

“They are amazing. Super educated and experienced. And consistently good! We have been here several times for brunch, birthday parties and afternoon tea which includes little sandwiches and sweet treats too. Highly recommend!”

MASSACHUSETTS

Abigail’s Tea Room

Location: Boston, Massachusetts

“This is just a tea room with some basic baked items. I didn’t even ask about the cookies since I saw PB and M&M cookies sitting in the case, but my peanut and tree nut-allergic daughter wanted hot cocoa. The waitstaff bent over backwards, going downstairs and taking considerable time to find the label to make sure it was safe. So, plenty of tea and cocoa to enjoy!”

The Savoy Hotel

Location: London, England

“We had high tea here in 2016 with our 3 girls and at the time my daughter was allergic to peanuts and all tree nuts (she is no longer allergic to all tree nuts). They were amazing! We called ahead of time to ask if they could accommodate and checked again when we were there. The service was impeccable and they understood not just ingredients, but also cross contact risk. We were fully prepared for our daughter to only have the savory items like the sandwiches and scones but she was also able to have several sweets. It was truly an experience we will never forget, in part because it’s such a quintessential experience, and also it was the place that my husband proposed so it pretty magical to go back with our 3 daughters! So grateful to the Savoy Hotel for taking such great care of us! Highly recommend!”

The Langham, London

Location: London, England

“We had the MOST magical tea time experience at the Palm Court in The Langham. This place is phenomenal and utterly gorgeous! Karina, the director of food and beverage was absolutely wonderful! I was emailing her the details of my kids’ allergies and she was able to accommodate us. The food was simply amazing and my kids were able to safely enjoy their first British tea experience complete with scones! Highly recommend this place! When we return to London, I will definitely be visiting The Langham again! Bravo to superior service!”

Fortnum and Mason

Location: London, England

“I had high tea here when my family and I visited London and it was fantastic. They were able to do all the mini sandwiches gluten-free and were very knowledgeable. Large selection! We had a blast. I would absolutely return.”

IRELAND

The Shelbourne

Location: Dublin, Ireland

“I had the most incredible high tea at this hotel while studying abroad! I never got to talk to the chefs or see a menu since I came here on a class trip but my class was full of students with dietary restrictions, and we had an incredible professor who made sure we were accommodated for. I was so happy that this hotel fully accommodated for every single allergy and no one had any issues. Highly highly recommend this hotel for high tea!”

SCOTLAND

eteaket Tea Room

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

“Loved this place! They offer high tea and have gluten-free bread, scones, and baked goods. The sandwich was delicious, the scone with clotted cream and jam was out of this world (yet a bit crumbly), and the brownie was amazing. Highly recommend this restaurant.”

The Balmoral

Location: Edinburgh, Scotland

“I attended a fully gluten-free high tea here in 2017. I have been to quite a few high teas and this was my absolute favorite. Such a beautiful place and they were proactive about my gluten allergy.”
