How does your school help accommodate your allergies?

In my dorm (Bromley Hall), every kitchen staff member knows if there are nuts in each meal, and whenever there are meals that contain nuts, there is a sign on the window saying “Contains nuts.” They also do not use nuts that many people are allergic to and usually only use pine nuts for pesto-based dishes.

Chipotle:

They don’t use any nut ingredients and I can eat everything that is on the menu.

Potbelly:

Their sandwiches are amazing, and if you mention that you have an allergy, they will go get a clean knife or make sure to completely wash their mixer before making your sandwich or milkshake.

Chopstix:

I have a nut allergy, and when ordering on the phone from Chopstix, they are good about taking your allergy down and making sure that they do not use those ingredients while making the meal.
